We’ve Got Your Back
On moving day, the last thing you want to worry about is accidental damage costs. With Moovers’ protection plans, your goods are covered by the most comprehensive valuation in the moving industry.
Instead of repairing an item, we offer cash compensation. Whether you replace that hula dancer lamp, or buy something more tasteful is up to you.
If your plan goes unused by the end of your move, we’ll instantly refund 25% of the plan policy. We’ll take it right off the top of your moving bill.
On-Duty 24 Hours. We’ll be here when you need us. Plus, you’ll have 24/7 online access for plan-related information and claim management.
Under Moovers® White Glove Protection™, our certified repair specialist will restore any item that was damage in transit to its pre-move condition. If we can’t do that, we’ll do our best to replace it.
Most valuation is not worth the paper it is written on. With Moovers White Glove Protection, your items are covered up to $100 per pound. For antiques and valuables, High Value Inventory covers items valued in excess of $100 per pound.
Valuation? Don’t you mean insurance?
Because moving companies are not licensed insurance brokers, they are unable to insure your items. Instead, they offer “valuation”, which is company-regulated protection.
So? What’s the difference?
Well, there is no regulating agency to enforce valuation claims payouts. So if you go with Shady Movers, Inc. you’re more likely to see their tail-lights fading into the distance than a payout on your claim.
How is Moovers different?
We’re a nationally recognized company with a long history of happy customers. We can stand behind our valuation because we have less claims. According to the American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA), when you move with us, you’re half as likely to have a claim*.
If you guys are so careful with my stuff why should I even buy valuation?
You ask a lot of tough questions, don’t you? We pride ourselves on our low damage-claim rate, but accidents do happen. It’s just a fact of moving. It’s always better to be protected than to take the risk.
